The report submitted to the House of Lords(英國上議院) by the Health Department of England reveals that medical research on animals have great effect for the medical development. According to the development of medicine and the animals’ function on it in real life, we can also draw this conclusion.Besides, we have two remarks(備注). Firstly: we don’t use the endangered species of animals for medical research. The species of animals for our use is limited, such as mouse, rat, guinea-pig(豚鼠), hamster(地鼠), rabbit, dog, monkeys, cat, swine(豬) and so on. Do you hear of the pandas for medical research? There is a special and relatively perfect science: Laboratory Animal Sciences (實驗動物科學(xué)) which is about the animals on research and serve for the life science and the social development. There are several branches: Laboratory Animal Breeding Science(實驗動物育種學(xué)), Comparative Medicine(比較醫(yī)學(xué))，Animal Experiment Techniques（動物實驗技術(shù)）. And there are special sciences for the breeding of animals for research. 熊膽眼藥水，六神丸是蛇膽提煉的，鯊魚肝提煉的魚肝油，用驢皮和蹄子提煉的阿膠還有從一些動物身上提取的胰島素等，在使用細菌培養(yǎng)一些激素前，很多激素和蛋白質(zhì)藥品都是從動物身上提取的。

這個太多了，如陸上脊椎動物，大多用腿；海中脊椎動物，大多用尾；昆蟲，大多用翅；而還有一些，則是用身上的肌肉或者鱗片。

6，常見的動物制成的藥物

不是的，常見的海綿材料不是生物海綿，是人工合成的高分子泡沫材料。海綿是最簡單的多細胞動物，也叫多孔類動物，身體由分化不明顯的細胞構(gòu)成，依靠身體內(nèi)部相互連通的孔道過濾海水中的微小浮游生物生存。人們所使用的天然海綿就是海綿動物骨絲，也叫海綿絲。海綿絲的成分是角質(zhì)的有機化合物，呈絲狀，分枝或交接在一起，孔洞非常多，柔軟，彈性好，比稱為人造海綿的高分子合成材料性能好得多。只是產(chǎn)量低、價格高。但人造海綿由于生產(chǎn)成本低，產(chǎn)量大，價格便宜，可加工成各種尺寸和形狀，已經(jīng)基本取代了天然海綿。反而讓天然海綿成了稀罕物品。
